Default How to remove SSR SP1 centercaps...

Hey guys, I just received 3 of my 4 rims today , and I am debating if I should remove the centercaps on them. I was trying to pop them out, but they are pretty stuck. I was wondering what you think I should do to remove them without breaking the caps as they seem like they will crack if I try to hit them out. Thanks.

they will be removed when your tires are being mounted and balanced anyways, just tell them not to put the caps back on

take any "rod" and just hit the centercap of the wheel from the back... not much else you can do.

take the wheels off the car and push the center cap from the inside.

Thanks guys.... 30 seconds after I posted this I went to the garage and wacked it with the back of a hammer and they popped out. I definitely put too much thought into it. Tomorrow i'm going to paint the inside of the rotor hubs black so it will look like its finished without the centercaps.

Thank you. I'll be able to post some pics up when the other rear comes in tomorrow.

My Ce's come with CF center caps so i too was scared of breaking them. So i tried to use a wrench or something with a small handle...and like 2hots2k said, just push it slowly from inside.
