Could someone tell me how wide the actually rims are for AP1's?
Is it 6.5" in the front and 7.5" in the rear?

Standard rim width dimensioning is inside lip to inside lip. Outside to outside is 1" wider. So, yeah, a 16x7.5" AP1 rear wheel should measure about 8.5" wide outside to outside.

multiple sources confirm this. I have AP1 and AP2 rims, and the AP2s are wider.

Want to make another staggering discovery? Measure AP1 wheel diameter and you'll find that they are 17" or a bit more.

The standard convention for wheel dimensions is diameter at the bead seat (not the outer rim lip) and width from INSIDE lip to INSIDE lip (clearly 7.5" in the pic above).

So it's not shocking that the maximum outside dimensions of a 16x7.5 wheel are 17" in diameter and 8.5" in width.
