Default I think my rims are on incorrectly..

What happens if I bought my s2000 used and the front rims are on the back and the rear rims are on the front? Fronts tires right now are 245/40/17 and rear tires are 225/45/17. Is that bad for the car or bad for the handling?

switch those asap it is definitely horrible for handling, you may want to make sure that the rims are swapped and not just the tires. (make sure the 245s are on the wider wheels and the 225s are on the narrower wheels)

OEM rims? If so, the previous owner would've had to have bored out the rear rims to get them to fit on the front or run spacers. Wow, sounds really facked up. Scary.

As mentioned above, swap them NOW (assuming that the wider *wheels* are in front).

You should be able to see if the mouting face of the wheel is flush with the mating face on the hub. The concern is that the rear wheels' center bore is smaller diameter than the fronts, so that the rears WILL NOT MOUNT CORRECTLY up front.

Very dangerous.

If the tire shop mounted the tires on the wrong wheels, you will have to have them dismounted and fixed. It should be fairly obvious if you have a 245 on a 7" front wheel and a 225 on the 8.5" rear.
