Default Js Racing wide body kit - Wheel question

I just ordered the full Js Racing bodykit. couple of questions I hope someone can help me here.

Having the wider fenders, My limited knowledge of wheels and offsets tells me I should be looking at something to fit it so it will look proper. Before deciding on this bodykit, I actually went ahead to purchase a custom offset(not sure of the offset this moment) that will fit the standard s2k with a spoon caliper kit.
http://www.gramlights.com/wheels/57spro/details.php

Question, will it be ok to use that set of wheels that I have already ordered?

p.s someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I reckon it is 30mm additional in fender size.

J's racing front fenders= 40mm wider
J's racing rear fenders= 25mm wider

Find out the offset and width of the wheels you ordered and post it. You could allways run a spacer if you don't want to buy wheels to fit the J's fenders.

thanks dressed2kill!

now assuming im gonna get myself new set of wheels. what exact offsets should i be looking at? shall i go for wider rims size? not diameter but width.

care to shed some light?

I was thinking of running 17 all the while, but maytbe with this configuartion maybe 18" will be a better choice?

primary importance is that the offset must be in line with the car with extra fenders AND run with a Spoon caliper BBK.

comments anyone?

wait...so you didnt order those Gram Lights? or you did?

say the norm is 7.5 +45 front and 8.5 +48 rear (my wheels offset)

you just minus 40 mm from the front offset and minus 25 fromt the rear offset

but that is only if you want to keep that width wheel, id just find somebody with that kit already and get there offset/width specs and go from there

Most people with those fenders run 8.5-9in wheels with a offset in the the +20-+28 range.
