Default Le28n vs. Ce28n

Ok. Im not that good at all this wheel stuff.
So i wan't to know wat is the diffrence between these two wheels.
(other then what color they come in)
Is one lighter then the other?
I have read that Ce28 are light and i like that, but i like the gold Le28n better.
I want some 17 inch wheels.
How much do a 17 le28 weigh compare to 17 Ce28?
Thanks for the help.
sorry if its too many question.

KaNgArOo, As Myflys2k says the LE (stands for Limited Edition) 28N has a polished lip. It is just a CE28N that they polish the lip on. CE28N and LE28N are the same weight...13.8 lbs F & 14.8lbs R. Our wheels are 17.5lbsF & 18.6lbs R for comparison. They( CE & LE) are basically the same wheel in every way except the LE has the polished lip. Hope this helps...BillyBlast

Sorry if I changed the topic a little bit...

How does the ce28n (or le28n for that matter) compare to work meister S2R wieght wise? I'm also looking into getting 17" wheels and am currently considering the work meister S2R.... I have looked into the ce28n but decided to pass on it... until now...

Which one is stronger? or stronger & lighter??

Thanks,

K

Topic changed...Both are strong wheels. They are both worth the money they ask for.

Volk CE28N = Strong. Definitely lighter than most 17" wheels.

Thanks for the input, bro!

How much does the CE28N approx. cost? and where can I get them? (sorry for the dumb question...)

BTW, does anyone have any experience with the Prodrive wheel (GC-07C)?? I found it in www.scieneceofspeed.com and wonder if that's a good buy?? How does it compare with CE28N?

Check to see if the prodrive has the correct offsets for the S2000. +45 or greater on front and to be safe +48 or greater in the rear. I don't know much about Prodrive wheeks except they look good on the LeMans Ferrari!!!!!

IMO I wiuld stick with Volk. JUST my opinion though. Anybody know anything about Prodrive wheels?....

I just found out about Provide GC-10G. It is a beautiful wheel. As you are debating between Volk CE-28N and the newly found Provide GC-10G.

My only concern is that people had mention that the Volk will rub in a stock suspension when fully compress

Prodrive wheels are excellent and strong wheels. They are really popular with the Subaru community. I would highly recommend them! Btw I own 2 sets of Prodrives for my subie and Work Miester S2Rs are on order for my S.
