Lug nuts
Hey Everyone,
I just recently bought rpf1 rims for my integra from tirerack and the lugs are included with the purchase. However, the lugs is look exacty like stock. I want to know 1)Is it okay to use with the rims? or should I buy aftermarket lugs nut like from buddy club or ray? 2) What's the different between between extended after market lugs and regular after market lugs? 3) What's the best to use when you track the car a lot? Steel or DuraAluminum? Can someone please chim in on this? I really appreciate it! Thank you |
the lugs that it came with should be fine, if they're conical. extended lug nuts over regular are usually a preference on how far they stick out if they're close-ended (they allow you to turn the lug nut by finger when taking them off/putting them on). Due to the differences in metals, it's mostly recommended to use steel lug nuts so that the threads don't damage each other with taking off the rims coupled with the excessive heat the hubs/studs see when at the track.
