Modding AP1 Wheels
So, I was bored the other day, and decided that until I got money to slam my car on BBS RS and some good coilovers, I would do dumb shit to my car.
So $40 got me custom pink paint, a sprayer, and Clear coat engine paint.
Sanded down the wheels with 3 different grits...
Put index cards between the tire and rim, and taped off the tube.
7 layers of paint, 5 layers of clear. Dried overnight.
Before:

Wheels painted:

Back on the car:

Now, I know a lot of people are going to hate, but I really don't give a shit. They're stock AP1 wheels, they suck. It's not possible to make them suck anymore. So until it's stored away and modded over winter, I'm happy with the results.

Yeah, the paint came off the sidewall, I had a mishap with the sprayer I was using and the tank decided to burst on my final coat. I used a wire brush and alcohol, came off fine.
I know it doesn't go well with the green, it looks like a watermelon. But for now, no ****s given. It would look much better with wheel spacers, rolled fenders, and a drop. But, that's coming over the winter when I get my BBS wheels
