Default Need immediate Help!

I just got back from the wheel shop, just had my wheels painted.

Now im trying to mount them and they wont go on.

Do both the rear and front wheels require centerings, and if so are they different sizes (width?)

I have a set of SSR GT3's 18 x 8 and 18 x 9.5. Please help. I cant remember how they where before!!

What do you mean by "they won't go on"?

Centering rings have to be different sizes because our wheel hubs are different diameters. The rings for all 4 rims will be the same O.D. but the I.D. will be different. IE, the thickness of the rings will be different from front to back. Did you ever have the rings in the first place and what were you using for rims and tires when those were in getting painted?

Xviper, thanks for the reply. It appears the fool who painted my wheels painted the centering rims, thus they did not fit, I had to basically sand the paint off the rings to make them fit, wheels are on now perfect.

Whats the best way to set the ride height, I dont plan on doing auto x or anything, but I want to get it basically the same all across the car. I thought my garage floor was level but its not, so how do i get an level ride height?

Actually, the rings should have been taken off before it went to get painted. I'm curious as to why he would even bother painting the inside anyway.

The guy I used is an idiot. Not only did he paint the centering rings, he lost one of my center caps and tried to claim I only brought three, and to top it off, the paint job he did was horrible. I brought the wheels in 6 weeks ago, he had them painted, then i went to pick them up and the job was horrible, so he had them sent back, it took his painter 5 weeks to paint 2 wheels, and they still came back crappy. I finally decided to just pick them up, and Im going to dispute the charges, no point in sending them back to get refinished if his painter has no clue how to paint. Im so pissed at this situation. Oh well, learned a lesson.
