Default New Pirelli PZero Corsa???

OK Tire Rack, whats the deal on these? According to Pirelli this is the "ultimate" road and track tire. So are these street tires or track tires, or do they actually accomplish both??

I wish some magazine would do a meaningful tire comparison like the old days.

sorry about the large pic, its all I could find.
some other information: http://www.motorsporttyres.com.au/t-club.htm

but I wouldn't get stuck in the rain with this meat.

Hmmm, those babies come in 205/50R17 and 255/40R17, could be good for CE28Ns.

Does anyone have more info or better yet a review?

Well, the Pirelli site does not particularly differentiate them from the PZERO-C tires, which are fine tires as far as sorta sticky tires go, but they were not nearly as sticky as Hoosiers or Kumhos. I ran the Cs on a 996 cabriolet that I had in 2000 and they gave up a lot of traction to the pure race tires, particularly on soft asphalt. They were significantly better on concrete, but not worth using for competition, probably better for track day use where their longer wear characteristics could be preferable to using up tires like they are free. FWIW, the PZERO-Cs were fine in the rain, and the Corsas look to be at least as good. They are soft enough to pick up debris and fling it at your car, however - somewhat of a downside to using them on the street.

Jim@tirerack.com,

will Tire Rack be carrying these? Do you have any info on pricing or feedback on tire life?

Thanks,

Ted

Those are not the OZ wheel. I don't have any idea on the wheel.
