Default New tires for AP1

I recently tried to purchase a set of Hankook v12's and they said that the fronts are back ordered with no ETA. My question is, what is a good tire similar in price and performance compared to the v12's? These are the tires I have found:

Falken Azenis pt-722
Yokohama s.drive
Dunlop direzza dz101
BFG g-force sport comp-2

Any information/reviews of these tires would be helpful. Also, if anyone has another suggestion I am open to others as well. Thanks!

Continental Extreme Contact DW

&

Sumitomo HTR Z3

I currently have the Sumitomo's on my car, great tire and aggressively priced! Very pleased thus far.

As for the Continentals', make sure you get the DW not the DWS. The DWS are made for winter.

Any questions, just let me know!

This is an all-season "touring" tire, doesn't fit in with your other choices.
Do you need all-season capability, i.e., you might be driving on snow? If so, there are much better performing all-season tires, I'm sure!

Yokohama s.drive
Dunlop direzza dz101
BFG g-force sport comp-2
All in a lower performance category vs. the V12. Sport Comp2 rated highest in Tire Rack surveys fwiw:

test results look good for Comp2 and S.Drive:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=163
Prices look good as well.

DZ101 doesn't look good, poor wet grip: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...ay.jsp?ttid=97

Conti DW another option, in the same Max Performance category as the V12. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=148

I do not need all season capability. The conti dw's do look good. I just was set on the v12's. I wonder if Jim from tire rack has any more information on these?

I'm telling you.......you should go with either of my 2 suggestions.

I am currently on the Sumitomos (17"), but I will be getting some 18" wheels and tires, and will change the tires to the Conti Ext DW....can't wait!

How about Bridgestone RE-11A? $139 each, correct sizes, great performance.
