what is the purpose of running a non staggered setup?

Does one need supporting suspension mods to run a square setup? I've read a bigger front sway bar but same could be said for a staggered setup as well.

going to a non-staggered setup should make the car oversteer more. You have more front grip than the staggered set up, so to even it out, a bigger bar is usually put on. I run 255 all around on my AP2 with a 32mm cusco front bar and no rear sway and its pretty neutral.

I'm not running a rear bar either. Running a Saner bar on medium and rear bar made the car oversteer, taking rear bar off made it push, so I went up 100lbs on the rear spring rate. So far, so good.

Generally a combination of more front bar, less rear bar, stiffer front springs, and alignment changes
