I copied the following information from Tire Rack-

OEM SO2: 205/55WR16 dia= 25.0 sect= 8.1 tread= 7.1
OEM SO2: 225/50WR16 dia= 24.8 sect= 9.2 tread= 8.5

PZero SA: 225/50ZR16 dia= 25.1 sect= 9.0 tread= (?)
PZero SA: 245/45YR16 dia= 24.9 sect= 10.1 tread=(?)

The SO2s and the PZero System Asimmetricos are both wear rated at 140. I know the rating can vary between manufacturers, but I think they are still very close.

The OEM rims are within the width requirements for the Pirellis.

Does anyone see any problem with running the PZeros on the OEM rims? I see that the speed ratings are different on the two PZeros, but I don't think that matters. Does it???

I am only considering the change to PZeros because if the compound is similar, I'm hoping that the extra width will give me more overall grip, and the reduction in sidewall height will reduce flex. The price is also close to the OEMs.

Any advise on this???

It's difficult to determine what will happen to the stagger, without the tread with of the PZeros.

Can anyone provide the tread width for the PZeros???

i think the section width on the OE rear is incorrect....it is wayyy wider than 9.2.....

besides, i don't know if it's good to mix speed rated tires...the pirelli front is Z and the rear is Y....not sure how crucial that is in terms of tire characteristics....the compound contsruction may be different.
