Offset help please!
Im currently running volk GT-P 17x7 / 17x8.5 but I dont think the offset is right cuz it rubs a bit. I want to get a set of Advan RZ in the same sizes. Can anyone help with the correct offsets please. Also will I need hub rings?
If I ran a 9in rear, will it clear or is that pushing it??
thx

What offset are your wheels now? Are you lowered? Do you have fender mods or do you plan on rolling the fenders?
If you want wheels that fit with no fender mods you need as close to stock offsets as possible ie offsets in the +60's.
If you get your fenders rolled first (do not put the wheels on without rolled fenders) you can fit 17x9 +35 to +45 in the rear and 17x8 +45 in the front you will also need an alignment. I don't run hub rings I just have good aftermarket lugs but there is different opinions on this.
Basically you have to decide what you are willing to do to the fenders to make wheels fit.

Take a rear wheel off and a front wheel off and look on the inside. They usually have a sticker or it is stamped on the inside somewhere. SOS has these

And these

Those both come in S2000 specific fitment. If it were me I would find out what offset the current wheels are and see if you just need a roll to make them work.
Did you lower the car after the wheels were already on it? Did you get an alignment?

Its not bad and I could roll but I want to change it up. The rays are they ones I wanted but dont come in 17's so I moved to Advans. That RS-II is nice and the offsets work with no fender mods.
I really like the RZ's but the offsets would be:
17 x 7.5 + 48 with 225/45 tires
Rear would be 17 x 8.5 +51 with 245/40 tires.
Would I need to roll?

You dont need hub rings unless you want to get them. I dont have them on my volk wheels and I dont have any issues.
What are you lowered on?
17x 7.5 with 48 offset, you will have to do a slight roll (no cutting of your fenders or fender liner).
I had to do a slight roll and some negtive camber. I have the same size as you with a 225 tire, just that I have a 52 offset. So it would rub a tiny bit on hard turns. I am on elbach pro kits with stock shocks.
Here is a few pictures of my car to give you a better idea:
