The best thing to do is go with the highest offset you can get. I would suggest going around a 55mm offset or higher. If I can help with the tires let me know. I do have the Michelin PS2 on sale at 154.00 each.

You can run up to 255's on 17X9 +63 all around without rubbing.

17 x 8 +38 / 17 x 9.5 +42 would this size be ok with 235/40 front and 255/45 rear and no rubbing?
and the front i should use 40 or 45 profile?

That will rub for sure. We already told you that you need +55 or higher if you don't want to do fender work.

235/40-17 front with 255/40-17 would be a better size combination if you ask me.

235/45's would be taller than 255/40's and would be more likely to rub.
235/40's would be shorter than 255/40s by about the same amount, better aesthetically and less likely to rub.

I don't like the 235/40 or 235/45R17 on the S2K. One tires is shorter than stock and one is taller than stock. They are also going to be taller or shorter than the rear tires.
