Offsets
Hey guys,
i originally bought some wheels for the car with 45 offsets
but didnt like the style with the car, so sold them and looking at another
set. the offsets are 18x8
and 18x9.5 with 40 offset all round...
i have already bought the tires from my last set of wheels have 225/40/18 for the front
and 255/35/18 for the back
i alraedy rolled the rear fenders... just wanted to know is there anything else
i will have to do to accomodate these offsets
thanks

You won't need to flare the front. Just roll them and bend the fender liner tabs up, you will have to trim off part of the fender liner to get to the tabs. I'd run about -3 camber in the rear and make sure you have relocated the bumper tab or you will rub on it.
ok got u...
does anyone have pics of the bumper tabs front and rear?
if i cut the liners will it affect how they sit in a big way?
i know sometimes where u trim the linners they kinda can fall down.. or sit bad.
where on the liners will have to be trimmed?

if you have the correct tools (fender roller and heat gun), just heat up the front fenders, and use the fender rolling tool to pull out your front fenders slightly. an 18x8 +40 won't require much rolling to clear. You will have to roll the inner lip of the front fenders flat. The rears, you will probably also have to roll the fender lip flat, then pull the fender outwards a little bit. You will also have to trim the inner fender lip of the rear bumper, as well as relocate the bumper bolt. This can be done by completely shaving off the tab where the bolt is located, and then drilling a hole a few inches back from that location, and threading the bolt through there. I think there are a few DIY's online somewhere. Then, you will probably be looking at something like -2
