Default Ok just to make sure....

I was looking around on ebay for some rims for my 2003 s2000, and i found one that i kind of like. (here is the link ebay)

I was wondering if they would fit and what kind of tires i would need.

These are the specs:
Name : STERN - ST1 FACE-III BEAST
Bolt pattern : 5x114.3
Size : 18x8 Front & 18x9.5 Rear (WIDE LOOK)
Offset : 48mm Front & 48mm Rear
Lip Size : 2"F & 3"R

They also have the exact same rims but with a narrower back,
Name : STERN - ST1 FACE-III BEAST
Bolt pattern : 5x114.3
Size : 18x8 Front & 18x8.5 Rear
Offset : 48mm Front & 45mm Rear
Lip Size : 2"F & 2.5"R

I would like to purchase these rims but i need to make sure that i can find tires for them and that they won't cost me 1000$ a pop :-)

Additionally, according to my research, these rims should fit, but i need to make sure before i shell out 900$ for them.

Your help would be much appreciated.

I don't think they're going to fit that great. The offset will them sticking out too far.

Neither option is ideal but the 18X8.5 would be better. You would need to run a narrower tire and probably roll the fender lips and run more negative camber.

I'd keep looking. +48/+48 would be best but now your looking at a 9.5 inch rim with probably a 245 tire, rolled fenders and a tab relocation.

Man this is insane.... ok so what size rims can i get without rolling the fenders and doing a tab relocation?

I would like the get 18" preferably....

Thank you so much for your help, it just saved me 900$ :-)

You want to be in a 55 mm offset or higher depending on the width of the wheel and the size of the tire you choose. In a 8" wide wheel you can run up to a 45mm offset with a 245/40R17.
If i can help let me know.

I have had those wheels personally, and they do stick out a bit in back. I ran the 9.5s in back, but the rubbing wasn't as bad as one might think. I ran them for about 8 mos or so. In fact, if you roll your fenders appropriately and do a bumper tab relocation, you probably won't have much of a problem. Right before I got rid of those wheels, I relocated the tab, and the rubbing ceased altogether.
Oh yes, I ran 265-35-18 in back with pretty much stock alignment specs. I will add in some pics if I can find some.
Like some others said... save yourself the headache and keep looking.

The fitment is not as bad as some think, it can be done, you just have to twerk it out the right way. *These are pics of my old car*
