Ordering tires
About time for new tires. I'll be attending two track events during the upcoming month and want a dual purpose (street/track tire) I've decided on the Falken Azenis RT-615.
I have work emotion cr's 17x7 +42 , 17x8 +47
Current tires are BFGoodrich KDW 205/50-17, 225/45-17
The Falken Azenis are available in the following sizes
205/40-17
215/40-17
225/45-17
235/40-17
245/45-17
255/40-17
Handling of the car is what I would call "moderate oversteer."
I want to minimize the tendency of the car to oversteer, and achieve "mild oversteer."
I understand their are a number of ways to achieve this beyond tire size, but I do feel that my current tire setup is less than optimal.
What of the above sizes would you recommend?
What will fit? Rubbing? (I'm running T1R coilovers, not slammed, but low)
225/45-17, 255/40-17???
Thanks for any help, its much appreciated.
