Default Painting factory ap2 wheels white, noone else approves!?

I really am trying not to base decisions of my car on what other people think but as soon as i mentioned that i was going to paint my wheels white on an NFR people think it is going to look bad and all this stuff when i think it will look great!

I dont try to be like most people who choose to paint their wheels gold or black on a red car but thats all anyone wants me to paint them.

Maybe i should follow through with the white and then when it looks good they will back off me!

There are several NFR's around here with white wheels. I'd recommend it. Looks great.
BTW, I have white wheels on a Sebring and know I made the right choice.

I love white wheels on NFR car. I'm thinking about powder coated my wheels white too.

Do what you want, it's your car! Who cares what people think.

Red on white looks good.

Never been a fan of painted OEM wheels but a good powdercoat couldn't hurt.

The difference between paint and powdercoating is well worth the cost.. I'd never paint rims again. Did it to my Volk C ultras and it was a huge mistake. The lugnuts coming on and off killed the paint and it spread like wildfire.

I've been wanting to do the same to my v2 wheels as well, I was looking at going the plastidip route though. Can always take.it off if needed, set em off with red lug nuts and red H logo on the centercaps!
