Default Painting Rivets

Im currently having some Work VS-XX powerdercoated matte black (Center and Lip). Now the rivets are staying chrome but I want it to be Red. They said they cant paint it red because when they tighten the rivets back to the wheels the paint would chip off. They told me that I could try and paint it when its all assembled but how hard would that be? and what type of paint would I be using? Does anyone have experience with this?

U can powder coat the rivets and use electrical tape on the bolts when u tighten them.

The powder holds up good, but it might leave marks when u install them.

Nice, I understand it might leave marks. I never really got a chance to look at the wheel up close but would it be possible or hard to paint it by hand when already installed?

To paint them while they were already installed would be incredibly hard and time consuming
