Default Pic request: 225/45/17 front, 255/40/17 rear

Looking to give my car a wider stance with ap2 wheels. I know there's a few members running this plus size but can seem to find any pictures.

BTW, my car is lowered on HR springs. I'm interested in how much this plus size would "fill in the gap" as far as width goes.

A good shot would be one frontal with a bit of the car side showing and/or a rear shot with a bit of the side showing.

Thank you in advance
-Simon

Anyone? If no pics available maybe some impressions on the sizing. Any rubbing issues?

225/45/17 does rub if your dropped about a finger gap above fender well in the front. I had to go back to the original tire settings of 215/45/17 for front. My rears were 245/40/17 and it sat flush in the rear. I would imagine you might have to roll fenders otherwise. This is also based on my old wheel setup of 17x7.5 +48 offset front and 17x9 +55 offset in the back. Hope this helps.

but if your stock ap2 rims you should have plenty of clearance on the rear and in the front.

i can imagine rubbing the inner fender well if anything under extremly hard cornering

i have some 255 i will be mounting soon

With 225/45 F and 255/40 R. No other changes and no problems.

Mike,

Car looks good! Are you lowered at all. I'm running HR springs and would be concerned with rubbing issues.

Thanks for the pic!
