Thumbs up Proper Offsets For 18"s

What are the proper offsets for 18"x8 225/35 (front) and 18"x10 275/35 (rear).
I would roll my rear fender n going to drop it about 2" or 3".
Thx

You are going to have problems with almost everything with a 2-3" drop. Most 275/285 tires i've seen on this board have at least a +75 to +83 offset on the rims in the back.

The fronts probably need a +50 or greater.

Dude, do you have any clue what you are talkin' about ?????

I would submit that a 3" would be nearly impossible to drive.

A 2" drop would be tricky but certainly possible.

Do some research, most people have about 1.5" to 1.75 drop, with 18's.

I have a small question. Will I be able to fit a 265/35 tire on a 18"x9" rim without major rubbing and with a 1.5" drop? The manufacturer of the wheel recommends a 255/35 for a 18x9 wheel.
Why do I want a 265/35? Advan A048's only come in a 265/35 for a 18" wheel.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks

You need to look at Actual size. Tires are like jeans. You may be one size in one brand but not in another brand.

255 in bridgestone is not 255 in an Advan.

hmm... I did not know that. I assumed a 255 tire was a 255 tire, no matter what brand it is.
