Default Putting Together My Street/Track Setup

Hi all. As the title says, I am putting together a car that will do mostly street, but some auto-x and HPDE duty. I've driven the car stock for a year and I'm looking for better performance now. I have a set of Ohlins DFV waiting to be installed, a deposit on a set of 17x9 +49 Weds TC105N's, and I'm looking at going with either 245 or 255 square RE71's. I've been reading a ton of threads and I'm making this one as my last go at it before ordering tires and getting it aligned.

1) At least for now I will install the coilovers at the out of the box ride height and recommended stiffness settings. I will then measure how low the drop is, drive around o it like that for about a week or so and then probably try to get the car lowered about an inch overall if its not down that low after the springs have settled.

2) I will be getting the fenders taken care of

3) I'm leaning more towards 245 square for ease of fitment, but I am also open to 255s. However, I don't think I can squeeze a front sway bar into the mix before my first auto-x this year so in theory the oversteer with the 245s would be more manageable than the 255s correct? Or would either setup provide too much grip for the stock front bar and force me to run with a disconnected rear bar(I would rather not) to keep the oversteer in check? I've also been looking for used Eibach or even AP1 or CR sway bars just in case can squeeze it into my budget.

4) I plan on using the stock adjusters for alignment for the time being. Are there any ballpark alignment specs that you guys can reccomend to get me started? I know the specs really depends on the driver and how they like to drive their car, but given the info that I've given I would like to see what kind of recommendations you guys come up with. I'm not opposed to the more aggressive side of alignment specs because I don't daily drive it and I will put maybe 5-6k miles a year on it. I already told myself that I will probably have to buy a new set of tires each year.

5) Overall, I'm looking for a good all around setup. I am willing to make some compromises to do it right, but before spending any more money I'd just like to be sure that that money wont be going to waste.

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies. Your assistance is MUCH appreciated!

You copying me? Alignment advice:

Max equal caster front
Max equal camber front
-.5 less camber rear
Zero toe up front
A little toe in rear

Haha Grest minds think alike? Ironically, at the end of the week I will have paid for Evasive's last set of blue TC's. I love your car and when I get around to it I plan on making a build thread as well since I spend a lot of time lurking around that forum lol. I did see that you're running 245 square and tracking often with that setup. Are your specs going to be based off of that tire size? Or will it work for 255 too.

A 255 should work with my current wheels and fender roll. You have to take a weightower ratio hit if you run larger than a 245 width tire in TT3, so I just need to make sure a 245 width Hoosier A7 will fit with my setup.

Ohhh ok well thanks for the insight. I won't be doing any competing anytime soon, but I do plan on getting some track days under my belt. I decided to get my fenders trimmed instead of rolled so I should be good to go. With the tires being a lil more on the pricier side I wanted just wanted to be sure before pulling the trigger on either size with front fender clearance being an issue. Thanks again for making the decision easier for me though. I appreciate it!
