quick offset question
 

but i still am not sure b/c of all the variables, and the fitment guide does not take into account the car being lowered, or messing with camber, etc.

will a 16x7 wheel at a +40 fit on the S with stock tire sizes??
the back seems like it will be fine, but how about the fronts?

16x7 all around? if so.. why?

So are you lowered or camber adjusted? i think you'll have problems regardless.

looking for a set of daily wheels
i want mugen m7's so badly, but with my car's ride height, the mugen m7's are a much too aggressive set-up
so i looked into rota j-mags (mugen m7 replicas) and they have them available in 16x7, but on that size rim, i can still run stock size s-02's

+40 is a bit low for 16x7's. I'm running 16x7's with +48 no problem, but I am also not lowered.

What is "stock size" tires to you. If you are running anything other than S02's in the rear you will need a 245 tire to keep the stock stagger. A 245 tire will not work on a 7" rim. You are going to have major rubbing issues with a +40 setup unless you roll your fenders and run aggressive camber.

Rota's are a big step down from Mugen. Don't know what size Mugens you were looking at but they can't be much more aggressive than the Rotas. Atleast if you are going to compromise performance (skinny tires, excessive camber, non-staggered), mutilate your fenders (rolling) do it for a decent set of rims. Just my .02.

I don't even think they make the Mugen M7s for the S2000? All the pictures I saw were on Civics. They certainly wouldn't fit on the S2000, and that won't translate well to the knock offs.

u have to get m7's for an nsx....16's up front and 17's in back
and i've searched on other forums for about a year, cant find any that are not obscenely overpriced

i used an offset calculator, and took the measurements, seems like they will sit flush with the fender....which is fine, but i need to hear thoughts from someone who may have had experiences running this offset on an S

i kept searching, found a pic of 16x7 +40 slipstreams on an S, car is lowered and sits fine, so i'm gonna put my order in....
