Replacing 17" BFGs in front - suggestions?

Have 215/45 17s BFG G Force ZRs on front of car. Comparable 18s on rear. Replaced the 18s about 2 months ago and need to replace the fronts. Any suggestions? Will I be ok to mix brands or should I stick to the BFGs? BFGs have changed tread design recently and backs and fronts do not currently match and I do not have noticable handling issues. The tires seem to wear out on the inside lines for both front and rear. Got about 10k miles out of rear and about 18k out of fronts. The BFGs seem to be the most expensive, so I want to make sure they are worth $40 a tire to stay with them or maybe I have to until I replace all 4 tires. Thanks for any advice.

I would always recommened to match the tires on the car for the best handling. We have a lot of high performance tires that will work on the front. You would just need to decide on what kind of tire you want. Is it better handling, longer wear or less money.
Let me know.

Jim,

Looking for bang for the buck, but will pay what it takes for handling, which sounds like I should go with the BFG G Forces on the front.

To keep the highest level of performance matched tires are the best on any car. Let me know if I can help.

Jim,

What would a couple of 17" BFG G Forces (215/45) cost me to get shipped to Houston and any suggestions about shops that would mount and balance after I got them? Discount wants $350 tt&l to purchase, mount and balance a pair. I like the idea of being able to take them back if I have problems with the tires or balancing, but you may have other suggestions. Thanks again.

Pete
