Rims 18

Hey guy I'm looking to buy new rims for my s2k I want to know if 18's are a good route to go with. I looked into some rims and seen this set up 18x8.5 35 18x9.5 38, is this a good setup.

It depends how far your willing to go to make it work. Those sizes arent too aggressive. It all comes down to your desired ride height and tire size. My set up is basically the same 18x8.5 +35 215/35 and 18x9.5+40 255/35. My fenders are rolled and pulled very slightly.

If you drive your car hard, you'll want higher offsets. The above car is just about undrivable with those wheels at that ride height.

That said, hellaflush is all the rage and if you care most about "looks", then go for it.

18" wheels look too big on this car unless you run a very low ride height like above. like not functional ride height. stick with 17"s

^This is not always the case. They can be very functional and can offer wider tire options that 17's can. As for the setup the OP asked about that is an agressive setup. You will need a fender roll rear tab relo and probably a pull and a good bit of camber all around for them to fit. They can fit it just takes a lot more work to make them fit than if the offsets were in the +40-50 range.

Just stay with higher offsets and they are going to be a much better and easier fit. If I can help let me know.
