Default rims for track use

Hey guys!
Found some really good deal locally for some rims that i plan on using for the track only..

Will these fit on my s2000 without rubbing and without any modifications?
Is the wheel pattern correct?

Front

Diameter : 17"
Width : 8jj
Offset: +35
PCD: 5x114.3 & 4x114.3
Tyre:Toyo R1R 225/45/17 (Nearly brand new only 100khm)

Rear
----
Diameter : 17"
Width : 9jj
Offset: +35
PCD: 5x114.3 & 4x114.3
Tyre: Toyo R888 255/40/17

Thanks guys!

The wheel forum is a better place for this thread. They can give you the best advice.

The offset on the wheels are too low for the S2000, they will stick out beyond the fenders.
Typically 8" fronts need around a +50mm offset and 9" rears need around a 60mm offset.

ohh you are probably right..

i will fit them on before buying just in case..but most probably the offset will cause rubbing...

Why not a +45? Seems to be popular choice

No, they will not fit without a fender roll and slight pull. Some will tell you they will fit but they WON'T fit without modification (unless you want to downgrade tire sizes to 205 in the front / 225 in the rear and run between a -3 and -4 degrees of camber in the rear- which is pointless since they are track wheels)
I would highly recommend passing on the deal.

Not to mention completely mismatched tires front and rear.

An average tire for the front, and one of the grippiest tires for the rear. I would n't track it with that mismatch.

R1R are one of the best performing (radial) tires!
its very popular here in my country..
there are some pretty good laptimes done with those tires

i would compare them with neova ad08..similar gripy tires

Lots of tire tests, and testimonials from drivers have shown that while the R1R is a good tire, it's pretty much at the bottom of the rung for this category of tires. No offense, but I don't think anybody here thinks they are anywhere near the performance level of the AD08. Or the RS-3, or the StarSpec, etc.
