Rota D2's, what offsets?
I going to order a ser of Rota D2's in 18's in the morning and was wondering if anyone else had them? If so, what offset are you running with lowered cars? I have a set of Tein springs on my car and dont want rubbing? Anyone know of anyone who sells these cheap?
How are these? http://store.racinglab.com/rota-d2-s2000.html |

not bad for the price.....i wouldnt get them but if your on a budget there nice......if your on stock ride height no need to roll the fenders. If your lowered more than 1.5in. you'll have to roll the fenders and maybe run some neg. camber

I sell a lot of Rota wheels, and you will need to roll your rear fenders with those wheels. The D2's in 18x9" +50 will stick out in the rear, for sure.

with a 245 tire on the rear, and stock hieght, you would have to hit some pretty big bumps(especially on turns), to get those rears to rub. i would think you will have more rubbing issues up front. definitley a decent wheel though. i remember when these first came out, suprised to see they finally got a good S2k package. post some pics when you get them mounted.
also, is there a larger lip on the rear? |
what tires would be best suited for that set up?
F: 215/40 R: 245/35 (maybe 245/40) or F:225/40 R:255/35 |
here are some of my pics of my d2's. i have the same measurements. the tires do stick out just a bit but no rubbing problems what so ever. love these wheels
