rota slip stream fitment +48 offset
Hi folks,
planning to buy rota slipstreams 17 x 8j front +48, 17 8.5 j rear +48. tyres to be fitted are 215/45/17 F and 245/40/17R. my suspension is fully stock, with camber of -1.5 F and -2.5R. according to the wheel fitment guide this size is safe but says i may need a roll/tab replacement Anyone know if i definitely need an fender roll or tab repositioning? My hope is i do not need to touch the fenders. |
The fronts will be good, the rears u should clear, ur only 17mm more than stock fitment but u got to mount thr wheels and see.

i'm really hoping to know before i order the rims. dont wanna spend unncessary cash to get a rim that dont fit right... a bit worried that the rears will rub?

I have those exact rims in those exact dimensions, on my stock ride height S. Even on very bumpy roads (note I am in Greece ;)), I've had no problems whatsoever, you do not need to touch the fenders or use spacers, or even change the camber.

i have your exact same setup op, lowered on espelirs, no rubbing and no fender rolling, no spacers
