Default rpf1 tires

I recently purchase a set of rpf1 from a member here and the tires need to be replaced already. Im not sure if this is possible but what size tires should I get to reduce the wheel gap? I'm currrenly on stock springs and don't plan on lowering it for awhile. The front has a three finger gap and theback has a 4 finger gap. Btw the rims are 17x9 +45 and 245/40/17 all around.

Well one thing we would need to know is what tire size are you currently running?

I wouldn't recommend oversizing tires just to slightly reduce wheel gap. It will create a variety of other issue including speedometer accuracy and negatively affecting the gear ratio. Not to mention you will just be creating another aesthetic issue that isn't very pleasing, oversized sidewalls. IMO lower the car or just live with the wheel gap on proper size tires.

I'd go with what Nate said. Go for properly sized tires, and worry about the wheel gap in the future.

What would you prefer as a proper tire size for the front and rears?

You might need to do some fender work, but 255/40 all around would be my choice. It is slightly larger diameter than a 245/40 so that is a step in the direction you wanted.
