You can also run a little more negative camber and roll the fender lips. The other option would be 215/45R17 on the front.

17x7.5 +50 is fine and with a 215/45/17 tire you shouldnt rub. I have been at 3+ inch drop for 4 years and even with OEM fenders with that offset your fine. Just change your tires. Be prepared to go through tires faster because of your drop and camber.. Other than that I havent had any issues. Just watch the debris on the freeways, it can be a PITA.

Never answered the question on your offset up front. I know that CE's come in different offsets.....and if you have an application that was not s2000 specific....then that may explain your problem.

That's what I thought...I honestly have never heard of CE28N 17X7.5 +50 rub.

It's not hard to believe. Granted this wasn't a Volk wheel but I rubbed 225 tire on a +50 front rim at stock height during a few of our fun runs. It would have rubbed like crazy with a drop.

I have autocrossed the hell out of mine with these wheels and lowered almost 1 1/2in and didn't rub. But, I have slightly stiffer springs than stock.

Your right. 225s will rub but 215s or 205s should be good to go..

Sorry to thread jack, but I can't get this answered.
I have similar wheels. 17x7.5+48 and I will be getting 225 tires (cambered a bit with Buddy Club Race Spec coilovers)...
Does anybody know what mm offset is required to run a Stoptech BBK on this wheel?

We need the exact wheel to determine. Most wheels with a Stoptech BBK, you will need to run high +30s or low +40s offsets or the Prodrive GC07s. I would also go with 215/45/17 tires to be safe, not 225s because I rubbed even with wider front fenders.. again thats at a 3 inch drop though.

J's - Thanks for the help.
Hrmmm 215s... Ahhhh the feeling of inferiority!

The wheel is an LE37 7.5W +48mm offset. Would a 10mm spacer do the trick to clear the Stoptech caliper you think?
I wont be 3'' lower, but probably 1.5-2'' with BC RS Coilovers as stiff as they go. With that damn spacer, do you think a 215 is necessary?

You better stick around after you get the NSX.
