Rubbing issues
I finally got my new rims and tires in but they are rubbing the crap out of my fenders. What type of camber setting is everyone running with similar specs?
The specs are:
SSR Professor SP1
front: 18x8 +49 on 225/40/18
rear: 18x9.5 +55 on 265/35/18
My car is lower to about 1 finger gap between the tire and fender at the moment, but the front fenders are rubbing whenever I take a turn at slighter higher speeds. I try stiffening up my coilovers to minimize compression of the shocks, but I still hear the rubbing. The car is currently on UK alignment specs and I plan on rolling the rear fenders this weekend, but I would like get some info on how much more negative camber would I need to not rub? And is possible to roll the front fenders? I don't see any metal sticking out the inner front fender like I see in the rear fenders. I have a feeling that my front fender liner is going to get destroyed pretty quick.

I would say roll the fender lips and run the most negative camber you can whlie staying within Honda spec. The 265/35R18 is a lot of tire for this wheel. I never recommend more than 255/35R18 on the SP1.
