Default rubbing on one side RFP1's

Okay,

So I bought RFP1's from TireRack last week, 17x7.5 47 fronts and 17x9 45 rears
I'm lowered on Stechs

And the driver side rear is rubbing a bit on bumps/dips but the passenger side is not.

Is that normal? Should both sides be rubbing?

thanks

Have an alignment done and run a little more negative camber. That should solve the problem. They actually should rub on both sides if they rub on one. Did you go with 245/40R17 rears?

tire sizes are 215/45/17 fronts and 245/40/17 rears

I did a alignment and all was good, but still rubbing on the one side?

rubs on the bumber tab, I know this is easy enough to fix I can relocate the bumper tab, just curious as to why it rubs only on the one side.

Because you sit on that side.

Probably things are just not perfectly symmetrical. It could be a tiny variant in the tires, the fenders, fender tabs, etc. Nothing that would change the driving dynamics, but that could cause a little scrub.

I'm getting ready to modify my bumber tabs to see if I resolve the exact same issue (18x9 +55, 255/35 tire, ASD springs).

I have this same problem (rubs on drives side only, regardless of single occupant or passenger inside). I'm running an ap2 with random 16inch rims that are specd to the ap1 sizing. There's gotta be a legit reason for this problem coming up. I've taken it to honda several times and they cant figure it out (though alignment has not been done specifically to correct it)
