It will fit. it perhaps wouldnt look correct if you want an OEM look.

as long as the wheels are the correct PCD etc then it will be safe.

Found these specs
Wheel size: 18 x 8.0 (19 x 8.0 on R3)
Offset: +50mm
bolt pattern: 5x114.3
hub bore size: 67.1mm
lug nut thread: 12mmx1.5
Tire size: 225/45R18 (225/40R19 on R3)

Assuming those are correct they should be fine except the hub bore. Our front hub bore is 70.3 so the fronts will either have a spacer or they will have been bored out to the correct size.

18/8"-19/8" is a terrible looking and performing size for the S, whether they fit or not.

No the 19 is on a special version of the Rx8. The regular rx8 wheels are 18x8 +50 all around. Not great but there is much worse out there.

The issue you want to look out for is the front hub bore. As Manga mentioned, make sure they have addressed this with either boring out the wheel or running a spacer. If the wheel is just torqued down without either of those then it can be dangerous. I'd also be curious what tire size they have. If I had to use those wheels, I'd run 215/40 front and 245/35 rear.

Thanks everyone for the specs/advice I have had my S now for 2 yrs and have just driven it as opposed to taking an interest in its features and potential mods (apart from fitting new stereo/spkrs/btooth) this forum is full of great info and will be using as the basis of a long learning curve!
