S2000 ap1 rims on 97+ prelude
Okay I have someone wanting to buy my used set of ap1 rims and this person wants to know if it will fit onto his 2000 honda prelude. He said that his prelude is not lowered and does not intend to lower it. I know that the ap1 rims are wider in the rears so will this fit the prelude if he throws 205/50/16 tires all around? Handling isn't an issue for him because he cares more about looks (at least this is what he says). I've seen preludes with 4 front s2000 rims but was hoping to find out if the rears will do as well. In my search, i've read mixed reviews. Some say it's fine and some says it wont so i just wanted to get a definite answer. Thanks in advance.
Yea i actually already mounted the wheels on the prelude and they fit perfectly fine. The rears will fit with a 205 tire for sure. Im not sure if the 245 tires will though. There's no rubbing at all. The only thing is that one of the spacers was hitting against something in the front left wheel so we had to get it remounted and balanced. After that, no apparent problems. It makes the prelude look 10x better compared to it's stock "ninja star" rims.
