snow tires for 2010
What is the latest and greatest snow tire for this year?

I was looking at these but they only come in 225/60/16 and we need 225/50/16
would the extra hight make a difference? How long would they last street mile wise when it wasn't snowing?

You can run those tires in the 205/55R16 on all four corners. They are going to give you the best ice and snow traction. I have driven them on BMW's and there is no issues. They are not going to handle like you OE tires but they are great when it is nasty out.
If I can help just let me know.

I was thinking about running 215/225 for the CR this winter.
Would there be a reason to not stagger?
I was looking at the WS60s due to Utahs weather but i make take a sportier version.
What do you guys think

Some choose to skip the stagger so the tires can be rotated between front and rear duty.
Our cars will wear the rears far faster, and it helps to be able to cycle them around for even wear.
Also, in regards to performance ice/snow tires: I like the idea. I live in Chicago, and it can get really nasty. But the streets are well cleared (Chicago's infamous salting), and anything over 3 inches of standing snow will go through the front bumper anyway. So I like maintaining a bit of tread stability even in my winter tires.
