A-spec wheels on S2000?

I did a search but no help, played around with offset calculator, and i've read the wheel fitment guide and it seems like it may be doable but not so ideal.
Has anyone tried the TL A-spec wheels on the s2k? Its not a staggered wheel but will spacers in the rear or wider rear tire work safely?

a-spec wheels are 18" 8" wide 45 offset

played around in photoshop. If the owner of the vehicle wants me to take it down, i'll be happy to.

With an 8" wide wheel you could run a 225/40R18 and a 245/35R18 to stagger the tires. The 45mm offset is aggressive so you might have some rubbing issues.

rubbing on the axle end or the fender end? if axle, can wheel spacers fix that?
