Unless you were talking about the GTF01, which is a true forged wheel. The GTV01/02/03 is the flow form/rotary forged stuff.
Think he's talking about the Type C and Type F, those are in that price range. They are extremely lightweight. I was hoping these GTV wheels would be the same, however I heard from SSR that the 17x9 +45 is around 19 lbs.

The Type F are those ones that cracked. That is a scary failure for sure. I would expect that from Rota cast wheels, not the SSR

So im thinking about getting these but not sure what size to go with..... My issue is I have Seibon carbon fiber front fenders(10mm wider) with Brembos up front.

I had SSR Type-F but i smashed up the driver side so i need to get a new set.
I had: F:18x7.5 (+48 i think) with 10mm spacers, 235/40/18
R:18x8 (not sure) 255/35/18

I want to get a 245 or 255 up front with a 265 in the rear..... the rears will be no problem as im rolled and can buy whatever offset needed but theres not really anything I can do with the front is there??? Like 1mm space with the type-F's and the brembos :/

I understand why people put up with it for wheels that are cheap and in difficult sizes (e.g., the 17x10 6ULRs), but SSR are too expensive to deal with that garbage.

I would buy a set of NT03 as ugly track wheels, and save the pretty SSR for the street. But good luck to you. Those are my thoughts.
Wtf!! That's scary.

Has anyone tried them with the BBK +45 offset?? And if you go with the +38 would that require rolling of fender? Thanks

Yes you will need to roll fenders and relocate bumper tab with that setup.

I like the look of them! They have been quite strong on track so far, dropped a wheel in Willow Spring's ditches many times no bends or cracks to report

On stock suspension
