Default SSR Professors SP1's

Ok guys. I would like to get some SP1's but i'm having absolutely NO luck finding them anywhere. My S is red and I love the look of these wheels. I also would like like 17's and 18's rear but I'm not sure if this is right. Can anyone help me I think I'm gonna go crazy looking for them.............................................. ..................................

SP1s are currently not made. They supposedly will be produced again in a few months.

No, I had nothing else to do, so I figure I'd pull your chain.

Yes, SSR Japan, went bankrupt and ceased productions. They were brought out by Tanabe. They will begin production again, you just have to wait. But who knows if they will decide to continue producing every offset that was formally available.

everyone you talk to must be dumb.

SSR went outa business in like february 05, this i know cause i had a one of a kind set of 4 lug 19's coming on the boat as they filed and for a moment they were gonna take em back. gladly i got my wheels.

as far as tanabe's purchase.. ive got a lil sneek peek for you.. ssshhh

http://www.rd-tanabe.com/ssr/collection_all/index.html

their avail now. but its on the low low down low. haha. im a major wheel guy.. used to own a few wheel shops and ever since been on the lookout for the best.

but knowing you dont even know they went outa business means your not on top of things w/o connections as well. so id wait a few months.. right now their grabbing a PREMIUM. wait till tire rack gets em. management is already setting up contracts to carry their wheels... as they used to.

btw tanabe bought all the molds but only producing the top selling models.. see link for models avail and offsets.

notice on their offset charts they eliminated a few columns.. prolly getting rid of the ones that didnt sell.
