Default SSR Wheels

I know there has been many discussion on wheels and rubbing and such forth. I have tried looking for these specific rims. but have not found any s2000's with them, an i'd really like them for my S. They are the SSR Gt-VO3. http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/gtv03.asp . i was hoping to do 18"x8.5" w/offset of 45 in front and 18"x9.5" w/offset of 55 in the rear. My car is lowered a1" on eibach springs. My question arises due to all the talk about offsets and width due to clearance. I don't plan on rolling my fenders ...at least not for the time being, i was wondering if these would fit without any rubbing issues. from what i read the greater the offset the less chance of rubbing. pleas correct me if im incorrect as my intention is not for show but for functionality ..no intentional camber and tire stretching and all that.
I have an Ap1 2002 S2000. any advise would be appreciated. I have nothing against other rims. I just really like these rims they seem pretty unique and not much people have them on their S's. Im settled on them but not sure about the fitments. Looking forward to hearing your advise.

Those are nice wheels.
Rims are all personal preference so if you want those, then get them. Just because not one else has them doesn't mean you shouldn't.

Also, not to burst your bubble but those rims aren't available in 18x9.5 +55 offset. Check the sizing specs... the closest you'll get for a 9.5 is +45 offset

you are right i double checked the size .the 9.5" do only come w +45 offset. but do you know if these will rub on the stock fenders.

Yes they will 100% rub.

You'll need to adjust for more negative camber and roll your fenders.

8.5" +48 with 225/40 front, 9.5" +45 with 255/35 rear will fit with rolled fenders. If you don't want to do fender work then you are stuck with stock offsets.

hmm looks nice but might rub when/if a pot hole comes along... i really don't like the roll fender option as i have not seen anyone in my area with rolled fenders that look neatly done, so i wouldn't go that way(at least not yet.) but those 9.5" on the back would look soo good maybe i can find someone who does a really nice job. I wouldn't mind taking a road trip just to get them done.i was thinking i might get 8.5 with the 55 offset all around. ill prob get two 8.5 for the front and test them out on the back and see what kind of clearance i have, from everything im reading if i understand correctly the 8.5" with 55 offset should have no issues..again correct me if im wrong. and again thanks for he reply guys.

im also looking at SSR rims (GTV01 to be exact). And if im planning to upgrade 17" to 18" from my 04, what offset recommendation/options do I have without rolling fenders? Assuming 215/255 tire setup

You would want to be as close to stock as possible. Something like 18x8.5 +55 in the rear and 18x7.5 +53 in the front...
