Default StopTech 328mm BBK on 18" rims

I just bought a StopTech Big Brake Kit from a fellow board user (CJahnke--GREAT seller!!), and have been wracking my brains and search button for the best wheel choice. I've flip-flopped more than Kerry as to whether to get 17" or 18", and have finally decided that 18's are not too much BLING for a mid-life crisis guy such as myself.

Bottom line--I'd like to find a lightweight wheel with a correct offset so that MINIMAL or NO spacers are needed, and the wheel is properly spaced within the wheel well. CE28N's and SSR Competition are on my list--is anyone using these wheels with the StopTechs?

ANY AND ALL INPUT IS APPRECIATED!

I checked out Dunsstop's S2k... he has 17 SSR comps and needed a spacer to fit the StopTechs (i think they were stoptechs). That BBK needs serious clearance and Dunsstop was saying how hard it was to find rims that fit. the 18 SSrs might be good without a spacer but I don't know for sure.

Baseline SSR-Comps won't clear with even a light spacer you'd need around 11mm to clear. Now my SSR's will clear with around 3mm spacer, but I'm running SSR comp rears and SSR Type Cs fronts painted to match the front(I have a 40mm offset up front on an 18x7.5 Type C)

Thanks for your input guys--I'm going to look at the SSR's, and hope that maybe something will pop up at the SEMA show next week.

Jeff at Evolution also mentioned installing CE28N's in the back, and the new CE28NF's in front--they're supposed to handle BBK's better.

Only one way to find out for sure. We need a brave volunteer.

Racing Harts in 18" would clear no problem. I had to grind the edges of the caliper to clear without spacers on 17's

The Brakes will clear the 17" Work Emotion F with a +40 offset. These wheels are very hard to get but will clear almost all BBKs without a spacer.

Just FYI:

OZ Superleggeras in 18x8 45mm offset fit over the Stoptech 328mm kit with no spacer.
