Default thinking of getting wheels, need some advice.

What do you guys think if I get a set of 18 X 7.5 for the rear and 17 X 7 in the front? Will it look funny or will it work? If not, is it possible if I get four 17 X 7 rims and just get wider tires for the rear? What tire sizes for front and rear if I do go with 17 X 7?

S2Kay,

Unless you are going for show...I wouldn't run anything less than 17x8.5 (+55mm offset) in rear.
Reason is that you want to at least be able to use 245/40/17's. You can run 245/40/17's on 17x8 (+50mm offset), but I would go as wide as possible as far as wheel width.

CE28N's, Volk Racing
17x7.5 +50mm
17x9 +63mm

tirerack.com has some ASA's that are 17x9 with +55mm I beleive. They also have some Prodrive 17x8.5 +54mm. Please double check the offsets if you plan to order from them.

S2KAY, You can do either one you are looking for but I would recommend a wider wheel and tire on the back. I would do a 17X7 and 17X8 or 9 on the rear. With the 18" rear I would go with something in at least 18X8.5 fro the rear.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you

Do you have any rims for around $800 or less without tires.
