Default which tire do you recommend?

Hi, my brother is considering replacing his original oem tires after 16k miles. He has an 03. What tires do you guys recommend? Bridgestone SO2 0r SO3? Kumho? Pirelli? He is currently selling his car but in the mean time it is a good idea to replace the tires while he is still driving it. Safety first, right?

Thanks in advance.

It all depends on how much he wants to spend. Since he is selling the car, I recomend some Fuzion ZRi tires, they are decent performing and under $100 each. The OEM S-02 is one of the best performing tires for our cars, so that is a good option. The S-03 is more expensive, but longer lasting and a lot better in the rain. The Potenza RE750 is a good tire too, priced between the ZRi's and S-02's, decent dry traction, good in the wet, and long lasting. For everything but the OEM S-02's, get a 245/45-16 for the rear.

Thanks for the responses. I did not know Advan made tires. Where can I find them at? I have checked tirerack and discounttire and noticed tirerack recommends WR rated vs ZR rated at discounttire. Any real difference between ZR and WR for street use?

They are not advan like the rims. They are yokohama advans. Pretty much the best tire money can buy.
