Tire help on 18
Hey guys i just bough my first set of wheels for my AP1
18x8.5 +48 (Front)
18x9.5 +38 (Rear)
Concave Spoke Design
I know i will have to roll and pull, but will i have to camber also?
It all depends on the tire which leads to my next question.
what would be a good set of tires?
I live in NYC and my car is a semi- Daily Driver meaning i only drive it when i need or want to cuz of NYC public transportation.
All suggestions and opinions will be greatly appreciated

I would go with a 225/40R18 and a 255/35R18 on the rear. You are still going to need to play with the fenders and I would say negative camber would be a good thing. If I can help just let me know.
yea unless you were planning to run skinny tires you will need a fender pull + camber...
If you wanted to have that "hellaflush" look, which I am pretty sure is not good for DD, you would need some stretched tires (215/245 or 215/235) + camber + a roll but no pull.
If you can and don't want to run a lot of camber + skinny tires, I would get a pull.

OK yes i dont mind pulling and rolling cuz thats the look im going for and -1.5 camber would be ok i was told u dont wear out till -3 camber
I dont want skinny tires im looking for a nice aggresive look. I would prefer tires that pop out the rim to protect it from pot holes, but not alot saince im tryna avoid rubbing and pulling my fender to far just in case i dont like the look.
Basically tires that pop out a little to protect the rim but not alot of rubber from da rim lip to da floor. If u can understand what i mean lol Wat would be the specs im
wen it comes to tires
Thanks 4 da replys fellas

you should use the search to find close setups to yours... I'm not sure if the new search allows you to, but you used to be able to search things like "9.5+38" or "9.5+40"... Do searches of setups close to yours.
225/255 might be what you are looking for but they won't pop out like you want. If you wanted a setup that was aggressive higher offsets would really be needed. That is unless you do a super aggressive pull/flare (which will cost a ton since you will need to cut the fenders/welding/and repainting). If you did that then you could easily fit 275s.. There is a guy on here with 11.5" wide rims in the back with 295s, given he does have more camber then you want.
