Default Tire question

I am looking to get some new tires and i was looking at the kdw2's by BFG.
Has anyone had them, and how did they perform. On the tirerack's site they are listed very high on the dry traction which is what i looking for, oh and the $$ is good also. I will be using them for autox here in kc this season before moving over to r compound next year.

thanks,
Andrew

FWIW, C&D recently did a tire test but only used the KD:

That C&D article was garbage dude, and not worth the paper it was printed on. COST was the major decider on how the tire was rated followed by wear. Traction was low in their priorities.

I think you are talking about the KD. The KDW2 is just average. I would recommend the Kumho MX for a goo bang for the buck performance tire.
If I can help let me know.

I don't know how much your budget is but I would definitely get Falken Azenis.

Check out the tirerack web site, they have a great "max performance" summer tire review. the top of the line BFgoodrich is the best tire for the money. IMO

I just got Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s and I think those are priced really well. From what I have heard and researched these tires are really good in dry and amazing in the wet....

I paid 772 shipped for 225/40/18s and 245/35/18s so i think that is a good deal...
