I'm waiting for a set of 17" Work Emotion CR Kai wheels (F: 17" X 7" +47, R:17" X 8" + 47) and I need to get some tires soon. My car is dropped with Eibach springs. I was told that going with 215 - 40 - R17 for the front and 245 - 40 - R17 for the rear would be a perfect size but I don't want the tires to be too thin. Could I get away with 45 instead of 40 and still look good? Or maybe another size for the front and rear. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

 

You would want to run 215/45R17 and 245/40R17. These would keep you in a good stagger and the height would stay the same front and rear.

i ran the same sizes jim suggested and they look and run fine. i will be lowering soon so hopefully no rubbing issues.
