Default Tire valve stem recommendations?

They used to come with the tires I ordered, for whatever reason I didn't get any, so naturally I plan on replacing them. Anything I should stay away from?

sometimes I just like a small black plastic/rubber valve, which are inconspicuous, the shorter the better. The coloured metal ones always stick out and are more noticeable if that is what you like. Heard stories of people breaking off metal valves while hitting cones at an auto-x, probably not a big deal but it can happen.

I've used the cheap ebay metal ones. They are cheap enough to replace whenever I change the tires and look good.
