TPMS?

I will probably get some TR Motorsprt F3s. Will the TPMS still work? If not, can I disable it so I don't have the light on the dash? I have an 2008 CR.

They work with the sensors. I am not sure you can disable the system but you may be able to take out a fuse.

So can I put the sensors on the new wheels or any aftermarket wheels?

I put on 4 wheels without TPMS sensors and I did not get a light in my 2008 CR. I only drove about 10mi. but turned the car on and off about 10 times. I don't know if this is normal or if the light would come after a longer drive.

The light should have been on right away.

I traded my stock rims for a set of BBS rgr rims andy tpms light didn't come on till 2 days later. Now I have to buy a new set of sensors.

you guys should consider putting on tpms adaptors if the tpms will not work on the wheels you're buying. they look like these:

or build one of these pipe bombs. works for lexus' so it should work for the s also:

[QUOTE=combfilter;3173139]This is beyond easy, but I did see people asking the guy who built the first one how he did it so I documented the process.

Wow that TPMS can is awsome!

the sensor turned on not immediate, but literally just a few blocks down the road, we plugged the new sensors into a set of te37s and it works perfect now.

if the hole for the valve is the same size then they should go right in, if not, then yeas you would need to use/make an adapter
