Want these wheels

Hey everyone, lone time listener first time caller lol

Recently I've set my heart on the Tenzo type M wheels....I noticed that lsdmotorsports offers them with the rears meeting the offset guidelines provided by our forum. However the fronts are (17X7) +42 (4X100/114.3)....our fitment thread says it does NOT recommend wheels that aren't +43 or higher. Would I be able to run these in any way, shape, and/or form? Thanks in advance guys.

Ayrton Senna ftw

:iagree: I think you should be fine with +43, though, especially on a 7" wheel. I've got +45 on a 8" and very very very rarely rub.

Unless my understanding of offset is wrong and I've been lied to my whole life. :crycry:

size is fine, the lug patterns wrong.

Looking at LSD's website, it appears they offer a 5x114.5 version as well. That is a pretty skinny wheel though, you're not going to be able to run much of a tire. For reference, OEM wheel/tire sizes:

AP1
Front:
16" x 6.5", +55 offset, 205 tire
Rear:
16" x 7.5", +65 offset, 225 tire

AP2
Front:
17" x 7.0", +55 offset, 215 tire
Rear:
17" x 8.5", +65 offset, 245 tire (255 on the S2000 CR)

I was set on some Tenzo Meisters as well but i heard that they look absolutely horrid in person, the lines dont flow at all...that they are very bulky. i was later set on some XXR 521's which you should look into but they are also hard to fit...

Either way if you decide to go with them, please post up some pictures, i just hear they scream "knock off"

Here's a look of the XXR 521's

thats definitely a very easy setup to run, the guidelines on this site are super conservative. you have to remember that one number on offset only represents 1 millimeter of change, so the difference is very very small. im running 17x8 +35 on my fronts right now and i never rub, my rears are even more aggressive at 17x9 +35 and i have no issues, however i would not suggest any more aggressive fitment than this. also, like others have said, make sure your lug pattern is 5x114.3
