Default Weds sa90 or work xd9

Evasive has the sa90s for 950 shipped versus the vx9 which is 1300 shipped.

Both look great but I am torn, I could really use that extra 350 elsewhere.

Also does the blue lip sticker think come off of the weds?

I like the style of the SA90 a little more plus you can run a BBK with them.

Both are cast and will be a little on the heavy side.

Really comes down to what you like/want.

I have the WedsSport SA90.... 950 shipped sounds too good to be true. Are they the correct stagger and offset?

The sticker would come off, but once you see it in person, you wont want to remove it, as it is a cool, understated touch.

The weds look pretty awesome in person. I was afraid they were going to be flat, but they are far from it. Very deep swoop from the lip down into the hub, almost like an Advan RGII, but not quite that dramatic.

If the work is a cast wheel, I think it is a no brainer for the Weds. However, I would pay the 1300 for forged wheels.

Tire Rack also has the Weds in the correct stagger and offset (17x7.5 +50 front and 17x9 +55 rear), but they are closer to 1200 I believe.

Both are good brands IMO and you cant go wrong with them. The only reason the Works are more is because they were just released. If you want to wait a year or two then I see them at the $900-$1000 range. So basically they are the same price, ones just newer than the other.

I hear you on the sticker. Looking at mine, you shouldnt have any problem getting it off with a heat gun and some patient peeling.

I dunno about that Evasive fitment though... thats a pretty shallow offset for an S2K. You will probably have to roll your fenders if you dont want to rub (and if you are lowered, you will probably have to do a radical alignment as well. If you are wanting a radical/slight poked look, then go for it.

My only other concern is that it is only an 8 inch rear wheel (and only a 7 front). Personally, if Im gonna buy aftermarket wheels, Im gonna go as wide as possible. I have a 255 tire on the 9 inch rears with factory spec alignment and no fender rolling... havent rubbed to date and god does it grip!

Check out the Tire rack fitment before you make a choice. If you only care about looks, then save some money with Evasive, however, if you want more width and thereby more performance, go with the correct fitment from tire rack for more tire and the correct offset.
