Default Weds Tc105n custom size opinion

Most of 17s TC105N comes with FF face.

We are getting custom face(FR face),size, and offset made by Weds Japan.

We are thinking 17x9 +39 or 17x9.5 +36

What do you guys think?

Can you explain the difference between a FF and a FR face?

Also, wouldn't more fender friendly offsets be desirable? Especially since this is a custom job anyway?

If you look at the picture the FF face profile is in pink and the FR face profile is blue. The face has nothing to do with fitment. This wheels offset is very aggressive and designed for someone looking for an aggressive face, but that also means it comes with an aggressive offset that will need fender modification. This is not a typical offset and fitment and more designed for someone that really knows what they are doing. This size is also very custom and we wanted to get an idea of what size people would prefer of the two.

A 17x9.5 +32 FR is already available. If someone has already pulled/flared their fenders they might as well get those wheels. How about going 17x9.5 in the 45 to 50 offset range? I understand that the face will be flat but it'll be much easier to fit and they should be BBK friendly. That's what sold me when you guys offered the TE37SL in those specs. Heck how about doing a 17x10 +45 - +50 because there isn't enough options out there that cost less than $2500 a set and I know that TC105N can cost less than that.

tell them to add an inch to the inside of the 17x9 +39 to make a 17x10 +52 please Flat face for all I care. Track wheels FTW.

^^ This! We need more 17x10s. As stated above, weds already makes a 17x9 in a +49 for the guys that don't really want to mess with their fenders too much, they make a 17x9 +35 in the fr face for the guys that have modded oem fenders. They make a 17x9.5 +32 in the fr face which will require aftermarket (wide) fenders and heavily pulled rears (or over fenders). If they added an inch to the 17x9 +35 you would have a 17x10 +48 or you could do the same to the 17x9 +39 and get a 17x10 +52 (although some people with the 17x10 +52 949 wheels complain about the wheel contacting the lower control arm at full lock)

We asked which offset would be more desired, Option A or B and then you guys say you want C. I don't think they offer a 17x10, but I will see if Japan can make that. I am trying to get you guys a volume discount on a special wheel. It requires that we buy in big volume, so I am asking, which size do you think would be most popular.
17x9+49 FF Face
17x9+39 FR Face
17x9.5+36 FR Face

Do you guys even care if there is a FR or FF face, it there isn't much interest, we will just forget the whole deal. The only way we can make this fly is if there is specific interest about a particular unique size.

17x9 +49 is going to be the money setup for this forum. The other sizes don't work for most people, and if you can get 17x10 you will sell every single set.

I would say the +49 is going to be the best Fit for the car. The hella flush people will buy, the track people would buy. That size still requires fender work, front and rear though. Less fender work it you get the ingalls upper camber joints which pulls the top of the wheel in.

I want the 17x10 +52.

I'm interested in what pricing you currently have for the 17x9 options
